I’ve just changed my news page to a blog format so that it will be easy to update with current news.

Maureen McQuerry’s poetry collection Wingward is the winner of the New Eden Chapbook Competition! The chapbook will be featured in the August issue of Ruah along with the poetry of Scott Cairns.

April is national poetry month and I am fortunate enough to have some of my poetry well represented.

• Smartish Pace chose “In Spring” as a finalist for their Beullah Rose Poetry Prize.
• The April edition of Margin is featuring “Greenman” on their website. The poem has also be anthologized in Pontoon 8 from Floating Bridge Press. It first appeared in The Magazine of Speculative Poetry. The character from this poem morphed into one of the mythic characters in Wolf Proof.
• The Washington Poetry Anthology will be out this month and my poem “Grace“ is in the collection.
